About this project

The new Kasr Al-Aini Teaching Hospital building consists of 12 floors containing 1,200 beds, the eighth and ninth floors of which represent the salaried treatment department. The hospital is considered a breakthrough in the world of medicine as it was designed and equipped with the latest medical devices and equipment in the world. It represents a milestone in the achievements of Cairo University. The hospital includes General internal medicine departments include eight departments, general internal surgery departments include six departments, specialized surgeries include five departments, ancillary medical units (intensive care - blood bank - endoscopy unit), central laboratories, diagnostic radiology department, and surgical operations unit: it consists of 18 rooms. Operations are equipped with all the necessary services, including sterilization, anesthesia, and recovery rooms equipped with all types of surgical microscopes, laser devices, and diagnostic x-rays, and they can be stored on video devices. Electrical elevator services: There are 27 electric elevators in the hospital to serve patients and visitors and transport food and tools. This allows hospital workers to move easily and quickly.
